What is Gridders?

How do you play Gridders games?

Did it still go a little too fast? Don't worry, we'll explain it in detail. Instead of one grid, in Gridders games you have four 3x3 grids at the bottom of your screen. Just like regular slot machines, you have to form combinations on horizontal or vertical lines.

Just as you normally press the spin button, you now press the Start button. A row of three symbols will appear at the top of the screen, and if you press 'Start' again, they will automatically appear at a random spot on a random grid.

But as we just mentioned, there is another option! And this is what makes Gridders games unique. You can also choose to place the three symbols yourself. Just click on a spot on one of the grids, and voila: the row of symbols is now permanently in this spot. This gives you just a bit more control over the game than with a regular slot. You can only fill in the grids from left to right, though.

Your own pace and strategy

You also play at your own pace and can take your time to think about the smartest move. You can place your moves strategically and make sure you place the same kind of symbols together, if you have them available. Handy isn't it?

Of course, you remain dependent on the symbols assigned to you by the algorithm, which means it remains a game of chance. But you as a player are more actively involved in the game than in a slot with reels, and that's what makes Gridders such a fun variation on the familiar concept. How do winnings work in Gridders?

As with regular slot machines, there is a pay table in the game that shows how much the symbols are worth. This is usually at the top of the screen. And as usual, you win based on paylines. So far it sounds familiar, but there are some differences. You only get paid the highest wins on the grids, and there are some additional bonus rules that can work in your favour.

By making combinations, you earn points, and based on a number of points, you get a payout. And do you manage to score a win on three different grids? Then your win is multiplied by 1.5x. If you win on all four grids, your winnings are multiplied by 2x. If you manage to fill a grid with 9 of the same symbols, you win 200 extra points. With each grid, the total number of points is shown above it, and the final total of the points of all the grids together is shown under 'Total points'.

Mystery games in Gridders

Mystery games are bonus rounds in which it is possible to win the ultimate high win, even if your number of points is nowhere near that. You can win up to 100x your stake in a Mystery game. It doesn't matter how many points you have in the basic game.

The number of points you earn in these games will appear on the Mystery counter, also at the top of the screen. This is what you play with in the next round, for the same bet value you were playing with when you won the Mystery round.

Other facts about Gridders games

Gridders are casino games that you play with real money, and you need to have an amount of money in your account to play them. As with regular slot machines, you can set a certain bet per spin. The bet in these games is between 0.25 euros and 100 euros, and the maximum win is 100x your bet. In the Mystery games, you get a chance to win these.
